CDP presents Tall Stories' magical musical adaptation of The Gruffalo's Child, based on the award-winning picture book by Julia Donaldson and Alex Scheffler, published by Macmillan Children's Books.
The Gruffalo said that no gruffalo should
ever set foot in the deep dark wood...
But one wild and windy night the Gruffalo's child ignores her father's warning and tiptoes out into the snow. After all, the Big Bad Mouse doesn't really exist...does he?
The team behind the 2010-11 smash hit The Gruffalo return with the charming sequel The Gruffalo's Child, bringing together physical theatre, music and puppetry to deliver songs, laughs and scary fun for children aged 4 and up and their adults.
There is going to be a special Gruffalo storytime at the Albany Public Library on Thursday 26th July at 10.30am, and at the Mount Barker Public Library on Friday 27 July at 10.00am, so you can come along to this free event and see what it is all about, and actually meet the Gruffalo!
